Twenty orphaned children of Gaurav Yuwa Ekta Samaj Tatha Pidith Udhar Sewa on February 7 had a great time at en event held in Thamel. Cultural dances and live music were performed for them. And enjoying what they were offered, they had smiles on their faces.
The event was organized by Rushlight Media Pvt and it was an effort to “cater a piece of happiness to these children and to bring Gaurav Yuwa Ekta Samaj and their work out in the people”.
“We wanted to provide some kind of entertainment to these children and make them happy. Gaurav Yuwa Ekta Samaj has been working for orphaned children for a long time but people are not aware of this organization and their work. So, we wanted to bring light to this organization so that people support their work,” Chairman of Rushlight Media Pvt and Secretary of Gaurav Yuwa Ekta Samaj, Ramila Bhandari shared about the objective of their event.
She further added that “the organization is planning to add about 30 children those who were orphaned by the earthquake of April 25, 2015 and we are seeking support from the people”.
At the event, the children not only enjoyed the performances but they also danced and sang on the stage. Moreover, this event was graced by social worker Sanjeev Jha, receipt of Young Bussinessman Award 2016 Bikesh Bajracharya and Chief Guest, International Brand Ambassador, Ang Temba Sherpa.
